FRESCO MARMORINO

CALCHÈRA Marmorino premixed, ready to use lime paste, contains of marble powders and marble sand, lime, vegetable additives and organic promoters providing good adhesion.

Can be applied in 2 1/2 coats for smooth but not shiny finish. 20 KG (4Gal) bucket will cover 100-150SF

Also can be covered over with the following top coats of your chose:

1.Grassellohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3fr8LQDk84 (fine marmorino) for glossy finish " calche rassata"

2.Make Up (lime Venetian plaster) for super glossy finish (interior only)

3. Marblestone Plak (lime Venetian plaster) for Mirror like finish (interior/exterior).

After application this product gives rise to calcium carbonate, a mineral with chemical-physical characteristics resembling real marble. CALCHÈRA Marmorino presents an excellent adhesion on mineral surfaces based on lime mortar or cement-lime mortal, even if seasoned. The vapour permeability of CALCHÈRA Marmorino is very good, insofar as the micro-crystalline structure resulting from the precipitation of calcium carbonate does not modify the porosity of the plaster. Due to the high degree of alkalinity deriving from the inorganic nature of coating, CALCHÈRA Marmorino is particularly resistant to mould and fungi. To these peculiar characteristics CALCHÈRA Marmorino adds chromatic effects of great elegance similar to those of colour finishes of the past, thus making it suitable for use in the restoration of historic buildings.
